| Data Warehousing |
Conventional databases merely have tables and fields containing raw unprocessed data that must first be processed and linked in such a way as to provide meaningful and useful information. The role of a data warehouse is to eliminate the process of converting raw data into information by storing information and not just raw data in the first place. Organizational information is stored in such a way that it can be directly used by management to make effective decisions based on accurate and meaningful information. In this way management reports can be drawn directly from the database and decisions made on-the-fly.
Time Software has the expertise to tackle most data warehousing requirements and their associate issues such as information quality, integrity, and how informative, accurate and useful the information is. Other issues such as security, query optimization, and data modeling techniques are also addressed.
We firstly perform a thorough analysis on how to best structure your business information into the database so that that same information can be drawn against as and when required. We then look into which database would best serve these needs.
